Privacy Policy — Betway Ghana Insider

Who we are

Betway Ghana Insider is an independent editorial review site. Editorial run by Abena Asante. We are not Betway and we are not affiliated with the operator beyond a standard affiliate-link relationship.

What data this site collects

Very little. The site runs as a static WordPress install on a single VPS. We collect:

  • Anonymous traffic data via Google Analytics 4 — page views, country, device class, referrer. No personally identifying information is captured by us beyond what Google Analytics records.
  • Server access logs kept by the web server for security and abuse-prevention purposes — IP address, request path, timestamp. Rotated after 30 days.
  • Affiliate-click events — when a reader clicks the operator-CTA link and is routed through our /go/ first-party redirect, we log the click and the source page in Google Analytics 4 for editorial measurement.

We do not collect: account credentials, MoMo wallet numbers, KYC document images, payment details. We have no operator-side access to any reader’s Betway account.

What we cannot see

This site has no operator-side access to any reader’s Betway account — no balances, no bet history, no KYC documents. The reader’s account data sits entirely with the operator.

Cookies

  • Google Analytics 4 cookies for traffic measurement.
  • Standard WordPress session cookies during commenting (if comments are enabled — they currently are not).
  • No third-party advertising cookies. We do not run ads.

Affiliate relationships

When a reader clicks the operator-CTA link and registers, we earn a commission. This is the standard affiliate model. The commission does not change the editorial — see about us. We do not sell aggregated reader data to third parties.

Your rights under Ghana data protection law

  • Right of access to data we hold about you (in practice: minimal, and almost entirely anonymous traffic data).
  • Right to request correction or deletion.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
